We began as three families meeting together occasionally for fellowship and prayer. Over the course of time, these meetings became increasingly regular and the Lord continued to knit our hearts together. These times were precious and life-changing. In 2010 we decided to begin meeting together on Sunday mornings. We did not presume to plant a church, but simply began seeking the Lord together in a more committed way. Over time, the Lord brought more people, and we recognized some men as elders. In 2017 we began renting a building on the downtown mall in Charlottesville in an effort to reach out more to the community (we had previously been meeting in our homes).
With the exception of the relatively small rental fee, we have been able to devote practically all of our giving to foreign missions. We are also involved in local evangelistic outreach and abortion clinic ministry.
